World Showplace

My Work at World Showplace

At EPCOT’s World Showplace, I’ve contributed to productions ranging from corporate gatherings of 30 guests to large-scale events hosting over 3,000 attendees. My experience spans lighting programming, event leadership, and technical operations.

My work includes programming a wide variety of productions, from live musical performances to large-scale special events. For productions without a dedicated lighting designer, I independently develop and program lighting looks, using my creative vision to complement each performance. For events involving Disney Live Entertainment lighting designers, I collaborate with the design team to translate their creative direction into programmed lighting.
Beyond event production, I contribute to the ongoing maintenance and development of the venue’s technical infrastructure. My responsibilities include updating lighting consoles and network systems, creating and maintaining technical documentation for fellow technicians, and updating power calculations and circuit documentation to accurately track CC20 modules, relays, and circuit assignments.
I’m also developing a new grandMA2 base show file to streamline programming workflows and provide a consistent foundation for future events.
