For this haunted house attraction, I had the opportunity to serve as both the Master Electrician and Lighting Programmer. One of the unique parts of this project was building an entirely wireless lighting network using ShowBaby Multiverse transmitters and receivers.
I also programmed a QLab show file that used OSC commands to trigger lighting effects throughout the attraction. I set up multiple cue stacks to run independently in the background, allowing individual rooms to reset without restarting the entire attraction.
This setup also allowed multiple operators, using different versions of QLab, to trigger their respective effects while keeping the rest of the attraction running.
Overall, this project gave me the opportunity to combine lighting programming, wireless networking, and show-control integration to create a flexible system for a multi-room haunted attraction.
