My Work at EPCOT New Year’s Eve
I’ve had the opportunity to support multiple EPCOT New Year’s Eve celebrations in a variety of technical roles, serving as an Assist at the United Kingdom Stage in 2023, Lead Lighting Programmer at CommuniCore Plaza Stage for the celebration welcoming 2025, and Advanced Lights Assist at the Italy Stage in 2025. These experiences have allowed me to contribute to large-scale entertainment productions across multiple venues throughout EPCOT.
What I’ve Done!
Lighting Programming & Creative Development
I independently develop complete show files designed for live busking, creating versatile lighting looks and effects that can adapt to a wide range of music. My programming allows me to respond dynamically to each performance, bringing energy and creativity to EPCOT’s New Year’s Eve celebration.
Show Preparation & Technical Planning
I develop the technical requirements for my assigned stage, including power calculations, power distribution, DMX planning, fixture addressing, and network configuration. I also determine cabling requirements, coordinate equipment and material orders, and prepare show files to ensure the lighting system is ready for event execution.
Crew Cheifing
When serving as a Lighting Crew Chief, I coordinate technicians throughout the installation, providing the technical documentation and direction needed to execute the lighting plan. I oversee installation progress, support troubleshooting, and ensure my assigned area is prepared for the event.
